Verner Panton was born on the 13th of February 1926. He specialised in futuristic looking furniture and used materials including plastic. Verner Panton work at the Arne Jacobsen architectural practice until he eventually started his own furniture design company in 1955. He produced the most mass produced chair in the form of the stacking chair which descendants from that chair are still used today in schools, practices etc.
