Poul Henningsen is a furniture designer who is better known as PH. One of his most famous designs was the Artichoke Pendant, or the PH lamp. The PH lamp was created in 1958 and designed to be a glare free light. The lamp is unusually heavy due to the materials used to construct it and comes in 3 sizes and 3 colours, copper, white & stainless steel. The PH lamper design inspired Poul Henningsen to create other pieces.
