Ole Wanscher was famous for creating delicate & elegant designs. Born in 1903 he became a student of Kaare Klint and later became a professor at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen. Ole Wanscher was, not surprisingly, interested in 18th century English furniture but also early Egyptian furniture which is where a number of his designs were inspired from.
